Photographs, primarily of the first centennial of the independence of Mexico, in 1910. Subjects include expositions and festivities, Mexican scenes and buildings, diplomats, diplomatic residences, and religious, political and military figures. The collection also includes a set called "Mujeres de Tehuantepec," as well as some scenes of the Decena Trágica, General Félix Díaz in Veracruz, and photographs of other figures prominent in the history of Mexico. Most photographs of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and José María Morelos are housed with their associated documents.
